Cross Belt seamer
C. G. Industrial Equipment's Cross Belt Seamer model CBS-2X484 is an industrial double belt sander designed to simultaneously condition top and bottom edges of architectural glass in a single pass. Two abrasive belts, intersecting at 90°, operate at 3500 surface feet per minute ensuring longer component life and superior performance. An adjustable base assembly allows you to adjust the machine to your line working height, and two 5" pipe connections allow you to connect to your vacuum system. Pneumatic and electrical controls and emergency stop are positioned for easy operator access. Our control panel meets UL508B certification requirements.
The CBS-2X484 is fully customizable, and may be ordered with or without an adjoining worktable. The standard work table is 30" deep x 48" wide, and utilizes a staggered array of 75 casters. Grip-n-ship
Transporting glass, without breaking it, is an art form. Proven to significantly reduce breakage during transit, storage, and work in progress, the Grip-N-Ship is a game-changer! Designed for use with various configurations of modules, the Grip-N-Ship is easy to load, and unload, and also allows for quick access to individual sheets of glass, eliminating the need to pre-determine the packing sequence.
At 48" W x 102" L x 48" H, the Grip-N-Ship has the capacity to ship 50 full length (36" W x 100" L) or 100 shorter pieces of glass. The self-adjusting design allows glass of varying thickness to be securely held during transport, storage, and while work is in progress. Locking mechanisms are located on both ends of the unit for ease of access.
The Grip-N-Ship was designed to transform glass transportation and built to be durable, reliable, and easy to use. Immediate access to individual sheets of glass anywhere on the cart eliminates the need for a predetermined packing sequence, and the self-adjusting system significantly reduces glass breakage while in use.
